Rainbow

Dearest friends, I just got my moleskine yesterday and I couldn´t wait any longer to make my first page! So here it is to share with you and also to let you know about my theme, I chose the rainbow, you can do any technique you like the only condition is to follow the next color in the order of the rainbow sarting red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo and violet, I think is gonna look wonderful when you open all the moleskine to reveal all the range of colors! So have fun! :D

Thanks! I really would love to save the colors you like for you but I think it will depend on the order of sending the moleskines, I hope you can get the one you want!:D

oh~ so each of us will do a page for one color theme?
I usually love doing pages of red, orange and yellow. If it's taken then I can do purple.

I love your page very much, especially the vintage papers. You have no idea how difficult it is for me to find those things in Hong Kong. Can you put some in the pocket so I can use it for your moly?

If it's determine by the order, then I'll probably be purple right? Hahaha

Yeah! When each of you get my moleskine you will have to check what color you are next and follow that, that way, at the end we will have the completed rainbow... Yes Rockronie, it´s a little hard for me to find this kind of papers too, but I have been looking in old bookstores and with friends that don´t want them anymore, besides I add a bit more of "oldness" to them with paint, but I´ll make sure you get some of my collection ;D

Monica - great intro page! I love it - and I love the theme!

Ladies, I can send some vintage pages to you - I recently bought an 1937 catalogue of stamps, french, and the pages are glorious old and lovely. Why shouldn't we do a little supply swapping by the way? We can open a thread here in the blog and tell each other what we like to have. (Okay - that's what I do now!)

Yay! I feel like santa claus is coming! :D I recently found a place were I can get old music shets, they are a little expensive but they are great! I´ll be thinking about this a bit more and post my ideas about it...;D Rockronie, do you want to trade the music sheets for old chinese writings? :D

i would love old music scores. In my collage, I photocopy the music scores that I used to have. I was in a choir so I have tons of stuff like that. But it's no vintage. I'm not sure if I can get you some old Chinese writing, Monicat. I need to make a trip to the old bookstore. Most of the 2nd hand books we got are old school textbooks. And since we all teach in English, it's all English textbook. I'm trying to look for some Chinese old dictionary. If i can find some then I can send you. Or I can send you newspapers if you want. Right now I only have magazine pages and even that is not good I think. Let me see.

I think we can try to find something that is not expensive and unique. It would be crazy to do a swap that is very expensive. You know, sometimes old book papers or music scores can be really cheap or even free. What do you guys think?
